Olive Garden | Terminal 1

Overview

Looking for a cozy spot to grab a bite while at the airport? Olive Garden | Terminal 1 is the perfect choice when you find yourself in the bustling Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, Terminal 1, in Panama City. With its well-known Italian menu, this Olive Garden location offers a welcoming and relaxing environment for travelers who need a break before their next flight.

Upon entering the restaurant, you’re immediately greeted by the familiar scent of freshly baked breadsticks and pasta. Whether you're flying in or out of Panama, it’s hard to resist the inviting aroma that fills the air. Olive Garden has done a great job of capturing the essence of its beloved chain with a menu that has something for everyone. From their rich, flavorful soups to hearty pasta dishes and crisp salads, there's no shortage of delicious options.

One standout feature of this location is its convenient location inside the airport, making it a go-to dining option for those who are in a rush but don’t want to sacrifice quality. Many travelers often speak about how it’s a great place to take a breather between flights, as the atmosphere is calm and not overly crowded. The seating area is designed for comfort, allowing you to relax and unwind with a glass of wine or a classic Italian soda. And if you’re short on time, the staff here is quick to serve you without compromising the quality of the food.

For those unfamiliar with the Olive Garden experience, it’s more than just about the food. It’s the warmth of the hospitality that makes this place feel like a home away from home. Their famous "endless soup, salad, and breadsticks" deal is a customer favorite, especially after a long day of travel. On a recent visit, I tried the Zuppa Toscana soup, which was a hit. The creamy broth, with its sausage and potatoes, was the perfect comfort food before a long flight.

In addition to the classic options, Olive Garden also caters to those who need a lighter meal. Their menu includes gluten-free and vegetarian options, ensuring that everyone can find something to suit their taste. The grilled chicken, for example, is perfectly seasoned and served with a side of vegetables, making it a great choice for those looking for a healthier alternative.

The wine list is also notable for its variety of Italian and local options. For travelers seeking something unique, the restaurant offers a range of wines from Italy’s best regions, and they’re always happy to recommend pairings for your meal. Even if you don’t have time to enjoy a full meal, a glass of wine or a refreshing cocktail can make your travel experience feel a bit more relaxed.

For those who might not have time to sit down for a full meal, Olive Garden also offers take-out options. This is a great choice for passengers who are in a hurry but still want to enjoy their favorite dishes. You can easily order ahead, pick up your meal, and enjoy it at your gate or lounge area.

Looking at the location, Olive Garden at Terminal 1 is easy to find. It's situated near the main concourse, so it's a perfect place to stop before your flight. It is well-marked and easily accessible for anyone walking through the terminal. Whether you're just arriving or about to board, the welcoming atmosphere makes it a stress-free stop for a good meal.

Overall, Olive Garden | Terminal 1 in Panama City delivers exactly what you expect from the famous chain-delicious, comforting food in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Imagine Regular American prices in an airport! Food was good and pretty fast! Serving staff were very attentive… I would say this is the best value in the airport! For $18 you can have cheese ravioli and unlimited salad and breadsticks!

Few places to choose at airport but this place is a gem. I know it's a chain, but excellent place. very organized, everything looks super clean, the staff is friendly, welcoming, attentive, personal and nice. Had the tour of Italy and delicious, everything tasted fresh. Food came out quick but not rushed. Definitely will come back here when I have the time between flights.

I was surprised to find an Olive Garden at the airport in Tocumen, Panama, but it turned out to be a great choice. The menu was large for such a small location and priced right for "airport food." Our server Noelia was really friendly and attentive. We had a 4 hour layover, and she didn't miss a beat in service the entire time. We ordered the fried shrimp appetizer and the meat lovers pizza. Both entrées were really good. Dare I say, the food tasted better than our local OG in Florida?!?! The airport has plenty of food options, but we were happy with the OG. Good job!

Might be the first time I give a 5 star review to an airport restaurant. I had a seriously delicious pizza (meat lovers) for a little more than what you would pay for a terrible sandwich in the airport. Good service too!
